AWARENESS & EDUCATION
Vermont Children's Alliance is committed to statewide awareness and education opportunities on behalf of Vermont CACs.
Strategic Initiatives:
1. Develop a public policy and education plan
2. Increase statewide visibility of CACs
GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT
Vermont Children's Alliance is committed to increasing access to services to child abuse victims.
Strategic Initiatives:
1. Improve access to medical evaluations
2. Increase access to mental health services
3. Improve access to child abuse prevention education for children/teens throughout Vermont
ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY
Vermont Children's Alliance is committed to enhancing its organizational structure/capacity to ensure the delivery of high quality services/programs.
Strategic Initiatives:
1. Board development plan for growth and development of its membership
2. Board committee and leadership development
3. Create a board diversification plan
4. Develop a funding plan for the Chapter and CACs
TRAINING & TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Vermont Children's Alliance is committed to delivering high quality training and technical assistance to the CACs/MDTs in Vermont.

1. Statewide Annual Conference
2. Accreditation Support for CACs
3. Program for New CAC Directors
5. Training Opportunities for CACS/MDTs
6. Statewide FI mentor program
CHAPTER STAFF
Vermont Children's Alliance is committed to creating a healthy and sustainable work environment for Chapter Staff

1. Review and revise staff job descriptions
2. Assess and develop wellness policies for staff
3. Foster staff growth and development
4. Increase staff capacity to respond to community needs
