FI Academy
Objective: This academy structured learning for forensic interviewers in the State of Vermont offers opportunities for enrichment, feedback, and enhanced skill development. Attendees of the academy can be connected with resources, mentorship, and options for additional peer review sessions.

Introducing Evidence in the Forensic Interview
Objective: This training provides an overview of trauma-informed mechanisms for presenting an interviewee with tangible or electronic evidence during the forensic interview. Options for adopting policy on how to IEIFI. Support and examples from prior experience and current best practice.

Embracing Challenges in the interview
Objective: This training discusses ways to support interviewees with disabilities or diagnoses that impact their ability to communicate, recall, and share information. Tips for interviewing children that are experiencing problematic sexual behavior. Psychoeducation for caregivers at the CAC - informing adults how they can be supportive.

Minimal facts: trauma-Focused Method to 'gathering the gist'
Objective: This training helps inform interviewers of children and adults of all ages, developmental and linguistic abilities new ways in which they can phrase questions to elicit honest, self-generated answers to the best of the interviewees ability. Live practice of question types and interview structure review are strongly encouraged for group participants of 4 people or more. This training also explores why people may report abuse allegations in a delayed or minimizing manner and how to best serve them during the interview. All questions are non-leading, non-accusatory, and designed to elicit enough information prior to a full, formal forensic interview being available.

Objective: This training help team members develop deeper understanding of roles of the team, CAC history and purpose, what optimum performance looks like, a map to getting to where the team needs to be and a review of the agreements all team members make when joining the work of the CAC. *Recommended that activities and food are provided by CAC to enhance the learning and bonding experience.

Objective: This training focuses on understanding the prevalence of child sexual abuse, recognizing patterns, and implementing effective protection strategies. Youth with problematic sexual behavior
Objective: This training is a introductory training to better understand YPSB and how CACs can support children while effectively creating change and safety for the community.

Digital Defenders:
The Dangers of Internet Use and How to Protect Youth
Objective: This practice session of case review functioning at its peak with robust conversations and contributions. Practices of other CACs shared, real examples, etc.

What is a CAC & how can it help me
Key Topics: - Structure and functions of Child Advocacy Centers - Roles and responsibilities within multidisciplinary teams - Coordination and collaboration among agencies Mock-up experience of engaging with a CAC from various vantage points
