We’re inviting you to share positive moments and examples of good work from the field.
Each month, VCA will highlight one submission and recognize someone for a specific instance of meaningful work in child protection through an MDT, CAC, or board role. Recipients will receive a custom VCA pin and a small token of appreciation. We hope this becomes a space to celebrate the good work happening every day.

Good News from Bennington:
This month, we’re recognizing Detective Sergeant
Lauren Ronan for her ongoing dedication to the
Bennington County Child Advocacy Center and MDT.
In addition to her supervisory role and continued
involvement in cases and MDT meetings, Lauren recently
chose to join the CAC’s Board of Directors - a
commitment that goes far beyond what her role
requires.
We are grateful to everyone who supported our Child
Abuse Prevention Month Campaign this year. We’re lucky
to have people who continue to show up and support this
work in big and small ways.
RECOGNITION
Thank you as well to Stewart's Shops and the Stewart’s Holiday Match Program for a
donation to support VCA Outreach Programming.
Support like this helps us continue building connections, raising awareness, and supporting the
important work happening in communities across Vermont. We’re truly grateful to everyone
who continues to stand behind this work.
In work that can often be emotionally heavy, Lauren continues to show up with compassion,
leadership, and a genuine commitment to children and families in Bennington County. Her
willingness to give even more of her time and support to the CAC is deeply appreciated and
makes a meaningful difference to the entire MDT.
